The original will cost $20 and then any copies will be $13.
Once you have the original document, you can order more copies from the Colorado government. Keep in mind that you will need to give a copy to anyone that needs proof to close an account. Many places that will need them are their bank, lawyer, insurance, DMV, credit card company, employer, and some subscriptions like Costco accounts. When in doubt, call or check with the company beforehand so you know all the information you need to close the account. It’s helpful if you create a list of all their assets and then cross them off as you cancel them.
